More on our 2016 Line-up...

Hailing out of the vibrant Bristol music scene in the 1990s, Massive Attack are considered to be progenitors of the trip hop genre. They have released 5 critically acclaimed studio albums including 1991’s Blue Line and 1998’s Mezzanine, winning countless awards and leaving an indelible mark on contemporary music in the process. It is a true honour for us to welcome one of our favourite bands at the festival as we look forward to the release of their first studio album since 2010.

Brainfeeder affiliate and saxophonist Kamasi Washington will join in support, with recent merits including features on Kendrick Lemar’s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’, and the 2016 American Music Prize for his latest album ‘The Epic.’

Making this opening the most magical to date, Detroit king and long time Dimensions favourite Moodyman will play the Amphitheatre for the first time and complete the bill for this unreal spectacle.
