As a French musician but a Detroit music lover, dynArec started making music in 1994 but it was not until 2003 though, that we saw his first released material, the R-cam E.P. on the highly praised Dutch label, Delsin. A string of critically acclaimed releases followed establishing dynArec as an artist that sounds like no other. Whilst his sound is close in form and feel to the mighty Drexciya he has gone beyond simply mimicking that sound and added his own stamp; evolving the sound into something truly unique.
His first album “User Input” was finally highly praised and played by dj’s including Laurent Garnier, Dave Clarke and many others. Further releases followed on Nature records (including a second album), Kondi and Electrix, dynArec then started his own “Vaporwave” label. 2008 saw the Aux88, American label “Puzzlebox” releasing dynArec 11th E.P. After a long hiatus, dynArec returned in 2013, with two mp3-only releases on Clone digital, and a vinyl on the German label “Solar One Music”.
Future projects include the just released album “Silver Tourist”, on the English Bass Agenda label, an EP on the legendary Electrix label, following the “Body Sequencer EP” from 2006. His music passes through the hardest beats and the thoughtful harmonies to encompass the body and the brain in a spiralling and mind-twisting voyage. His exciting live performances deliver stomping beats and dark pad storms, from mainly unreleased tracks making it a unique experience.
