Join our Volunteering Team for 2014.
We offer a range of opportunities to earn your free ticket– from Stewarding to Stage management – Artist Liaison to Litter Picking.
All Dimensions Festival Volunteers need to be on site and available to work between Wednesday 27th August 2014 – Monday 1st September. These dates may vary depending on the shifts that you choose.
Volunteers will be asked to pay a £140 deposit (+£12.50 booking fee) which will be refunded by 31st October 2014, on the successful completion of 3 x 6-8/hour shifts.

Volunteers are an integral part of the festival, and help create a safe, positive environment and the community atmosphere our festivals are famous for.
Volunteering at festivals is a great way to party on a budget, make new friends, and gain valuable work experience. We aim to give our all volunteers the opportunity to take as much away from experience as they want. Many return year after year; and some have even become part of the team running the festival!
For those of you trying to get a foothold into the events industry, you can apply for the Management Support Team (MST). In return for their hard work assisting mangers in all areas of the festival, these onsite interns get expenses paid (hands on) work experience placements onsite in Croatia.
When you book through the volunteering system, those of you opting to camp will have 4 nights (£42) of your camping refunded along with your deposit.
You will receive one meal token per shift.

The closing date for the initial round of volunteer applications is Friday 20th June 2014, with a deadline for final deposit payments to be made by 27th June 2014. Please note that applications may re-open after this date, however you will not be able to choose the role you want to work in.

Pre-event Volunteer roles at Outlook and Dimensions Festivals
Outlook and Dimensions Festivals are both critically acclaimed on the European festival circuit for their forward-thinking line-ups and event production. We have a variety of volunteer roles available for the 2014 festival year, offering invaluable experience in a range of departments from Marketing and Sales to Event Management. We encourage a close working relationship between volunteers and management, where our small team structure allows each volunteer to be placed with the manager responsible for the department within which they are volunteering. A young and vibrant team, we are looking for motivated, independent and capable individuals who are eager to learn more about the event marketing and/or management. London based 3 Month Pre-event Volunteer roles at Outlook and Dimensions Festivals
There are 3-month London-based roles available in the following departments, with start dates in April, May and June dependent upon role. Number of days per week varies to allow us to remain flexible for the right candidate(s), however we recommend 3 days per week as a minimum in order for volunteers to gain in-depth experience.

Would you like to display your artwork to 15,000 people in and around an abandoned fort in Croatia?Outlook and Dimensions Festivals are looking for powerful creative minds to showcase their work at this year’s festivals and bring Fort Punta Christo alive over 2 weekends from the 27th August – 7th September.
Fort Punta Christo and it’s surrounding forest laden peninsula is perhaps one of the most amazing festival location ever imagined; an abandoned fort built in the 1800’s placed within a lost world. Surrounded by the crystal clear Adriatic Sea reflecting a pristine sky during the day and when the sun sets and the sound systems begin to quake…the festival turns into a different beast!
Born in 2012, Dimensions is held the weekend before Outlook, in the same 200 year-old abandoned Fort in Pula in the stunning region of Istria, Croatia. Dimensions is intimate and chic celebrating the best underground electronic music from across the globe.
Visualising sound & movement
Investigate the sounds of the festivals; how we experience, feel and interact with music. The brief presents you with a chance to visually express dance music and the emotions awakened by soundsystem culture.
We are looking for a wide range of innovative visual artists and creative minds to showcase their work and be a part of this year’s festivals. In return we offer you a unique creative atmosphere to realise your ideas.
Before submitting your application take a moment to consider – how your piece can be engaged with and it’s use within the festival.
We want to be surprised by your creativity, your visual aesthetic and impressed by your originality.
-To capture festivalgoers’ imagination and accentuate the natural beauty of the festival site.
- Consider text and image
- Use whatever methods and media you consider appropriate to convey your solution.
- You need to understand the limitations of working in a foreign country and be completely self sufficient in your project from the build to the clean up.
- You will need to be available between mid-August – early-September 2014 and be able to spend at least 10 days prior to the festival working in Croatia (from Monday 18th August 2014).
- Successful applicants will receive festival entry, accommodation and some food and drink whilst working.

Management Support Team
We also off a range of 2.5 week on-site placements within our Management Support Team for those wishing to gain at-event experience.
Working alongside management in various areas of Operations and Event Management, this is a great way to develop your existing skills and knowledge, helping you bridge the gap between volunteering and staff roles.

The MST scheme is not for the work-shy; hours will be long and pressure will be high. You will be expected to learn quickly, think on your feet, and be resourceful and independent in your approach to work.
